Last month we wrote about the new Christmas album from the combined (and formidable) efforts of Sanna Nielsen, Shirley Clamp, and Sonja Alden. Well not to be outdone, reigning schlager queen Charlotte Perrelli is releasing her own set of festive favourites pa svenskar. It’s called ‘Rimfrostjul’, and is mostly a collection of traditional Western favourites sung in Swedish. The tracklisting is below, but we’re most looking forward to hearing her take on ‘Sleigh Ride’ (can she top the Spice Girls now standard take on the classic?!) and ‘Happy Christmas, War Is Over’. Until the album is released on November 10th though, let’s focus our attention on how radiant she’s looking in THAT frock!
