UK scandipop and schlager fans, LOOK AT THIS.
There’s a new schlager club night coming to London and it’s launching at the end of the month.
It’s called Schlagerfest and it’s important to note that it’s got nothing to do with the old UKEurovision schlager parties that used to happen in London previously. Schlagerfest is totally new and is being run by four lovely young chaps that we know personally and that we can safely say are totally dedicated to the schlager cause – hooray! They’re doing this simply because London is now mussing a regular schlager club night, since the aforementioned UKEurovision parties ceased to exist and since we at scandipop relocated from London to Stockholm and aren’t able to host the scandipop club nights as frequently as we used to.
The event launches on Friday 29th July 2011 with a charity fundraiser event. This will take place from 8.30pm until 2am at Loom in Clipstone Street, Central London. Tickets are available now at the Schlagerfest website and cost just £5 in advance including a free drink offer. All proceeds will be donated to the Terrence Higgins Trust.
