Here’s Elin Lanto performing a mini acoustic gig at Expressen towers in Stockholm yesterday, to mark the date of the physical release of her new album. She sang ‘Love Made Me Stupid’ and ‘Tickles’ backed by only two gentlemen and their guitars. She delivers a great vocal on both. ‘Love Made Me Stupid’ is transformed into a harrowing piece of music, thanks to its despairing lyrics, which always sounded only angry in the song’s original form, but now sound utterly heartwrenching, very sad. ‘Tickles’ on the other hand retains its jovial pop joy.
