OMG it’s Finland’s bestest boyband! They’re back! The Satin Circus chaps return today with a new single and video. Their first since last year’s ‘Expectations’ album. It’s called ‘Crossroads’.
And!!! What’s it like?! It’s really good, thankfully. A veritable TRIUMPH of a return.
In the same vein as their previous material? Actually no. ‘Crossroads’ sounds like Mumford & Sons doing their own version of Ace Wilder’s ‘Busy Doin Nothin’. Imagine that for a minute. THAT is what it sounds like.
Anything else of note? WELL. It just happens to be in the running to represent their native Finland at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. They’ve got the best song of all eighteen tracks competing (and you can listen to them all here), AND Satin Circus are the biggest ‘name’ too. So it’s looking quite likely that they’ll end up doing it and all! Which would be ace.
