So who provided the highlights on night three? ‘Twas one trio in particular, who gave us a daisy chain of sorts, of great tunes. Lili & Susie covering Markus Krunegård, Markus Krunegård covering Benjamin Ingrosso, and then Benjamin Ingrosso covering Lili & Susie. With Plura then coming on to do a fabulous remake of Lili & Susie’s biggest hit.
So Lili & Susie’s arrival kinda shook shit up, right? Men visst! Their back catalogue provided two of the best performances of the night – ‘Only Your Heart’ for Benjamin Ingrosso, and ‘Oh Mama’ for Plura. In turn, they also did a rousing remake of Markus Krunegård’s ‘Hela Livet Var Ett Disco’, leaving us desparately wanting more from them in the coming weeks. With Markus himself delivering a down-tempo re-imagining of Benjamin Ingrosso’s Melodifestivalen winner ‘Dance You Off’.
Where can I watch it? If you’re in Sweden, you can watch all clips on TV4’s website for the show, and if you’re not in Sweden, you still can, if you are willing to jump through a few hoops to watch said clips. Otherwise, TV4 are uploading select performances to their YouTube channel for the show. Though not all of them, unfortunately.
You can find the best of all this year’s songs on our own Best of Så Mycket Bättre playlist (featuring all the best songs from the show since it started in 2010). And all of this year’s songs will be added weekly to TV4’s own Så Mycket Bättre playlist.
