Rob & Nino have bestowed a new track upon the world this week. The Swedish pop duo released their debut single ‘Rewind’ last month, and shared with scandipop.co.uk a few clips of some of their other tracks earlier in the year. Now a new song has surfaced online. ‘Whatever’.
Oh how awkward – that last sentence reads like we’re being dismissive. We most certainly aren’t though!
‘Whatever’ is another hot piece of electro flavoured urban poppage from the pair. As with all of their tunes thus far, the production is slick, shiny, and solid. And the melody is both epic and poppified. We like the formula that these boys have adopted, and we love that they’re stubbornly not letting go of it now that they’ve heard how well it works.
This isn’t the new single however. Instead, that’ll be ‘Freak’, featuring Lazee (and personally, we’d like it if ‘Blood On My Hands’ was given its chance to shine in the future too). So for now we’re just taking ‘Whatever’ for what it is – another attractive glimpse at how great their debut album has the potential to sound.
Oh, and in other news – the boys have been working with ERIC SAADE on some tracks (*scream*), so let’s hope a couple show up on ‘Saade Vol.2’ in November.
