The weekend’s episode of Så Mycket Bättre had everyone take on Mr Magnus Uggla’s classics – with Miss Li plumping for ‘1a Gången’. Possibly her best track so far this season.
It’s an upbeat and rousing slice of melodic pop – doused in Miss Li’s trademark retro vibes. A joyous choir and a hyper drum beat lift this into the realms of almost hands-in-the-air glee, and by the end of the track Miss Li herself is more or less screeching the remainder of the song in sheer delight. Contagious delight, at that. So yeah, it’s a pretty happy tune all in all.
The song has been number 2 on iTunes since Sunday – behind Darin’s song from the same episode.
