Wow, Norway was given a treat over the weekend during the screening of their X Factor final. One of the artists that performed was Mira Craig, who readers of this site last week will know is taking part in Melodi Grand Prix next year with her song ‘I’ll Take You High’. On the show she performed her new single, ‘Love & Hate’, which we hadn’t heard before. But we were pleasantly surprised by how very good it is. It’s a pop tinged r&b track. It sounds like a Ryan Tedder composed ballad that’s been sped up and raped by a synthesiser – i.e. – amazing! Attitude heavy, dancefloor friendly, and Mira pouts, points, effs, and blinds her way through the delightfully choreographed performance. We’ll be very happy if her MGP entry next year is anything like this.
