Mary N’Diaye today releases a brand new single – her follow-up to Melodifestivalen 2013’s ‘Gosa’.
It’s ‘För Att Jag Kan’. And it’s like a much (MUCH) better version of ‘Gosa’. Tribal influenced dancepop with a hyper mish-mash of all sorts dropped into the mix. It’s supremely catchy and upbeat. With a tri-polar vocal delivery that at times even veers into Alina Devecerski’s ‘Flytta På Dig’ territory. The chorus is a bit reminiscent of Eric Saade’s ‘Winning Ground’ too, or take your pic of whatever your sports anthem of choice is.
It’s a little bit brilliant, this. We did wonder how on earth she was going to pull things back from ‘Gosa’. But she’s totally managed it with ‘För Att Jag Kan’.
The single was released today, as yet just in Sweden.
