Norwegian singer Maria Mena has this weekend announced what the second single from her forthcoming ‘Weapon In Mind’ album will be. It’s ‘I Always Liked That’, and will be released next week.
Following on from ‘Fuck You‘, ‘I Always Liked That’ sees Maria return to the sound that has served her so well in the past, and which her fans love her most for. It’s an emotional ballad. Ever so soft. And stamped with her trademark vocal fragility thing, that she does so well. It’s classic Maria Mena.
She performed the song on TV while she was in Sweden a few months back, and you can watch the performance below. She also did ‘Fuck You’.
‘I Always Liked That’ will be released in Norway on June 21st, with a worldwide release to follow at a later date.
