Well we didn’t quite know what to make of this song when we first heard it. It was all very WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS?! But after about halfway through, it started to click somewhat. And though we might finally be sectioned for this – we actually really like it.
It’s ‘Only Fish’. The debut single from a new Swedish electro/pop/rock (their description) female duo from Sweden. The song is equal measures ridiculous and amazing. Totally bonkers. Not quite brilliant. Or maybe it is. They describe it as a “rough party” song. And while it doesn’t really sound like any rough party we’ve ever been to, get us put on that guestlist plus one, girls.
Madhouse Inc are Marina Ammouri and Mila Mirelli. And we’ve actually written about both of these ladies before on Scandipop. Marina wrote the (amazing schlager) song ‘Starlight‘ which Regina Lund released last year. And Mila was a part of the band MMADCATZ, who collaborated with Regina on the song.
The video, matches the song in that it’s totally WTF. The animated sperm that is produced after a rohypnol blow job, sums the whole thing up nicely.
The song was supposedly released yesterday. We can’t find it on iTunes, but do keep an eye out for it, should THIS take your fancy;
