The 2012 season of Lotta På Liseberg kicked off in Gothenburg last night. The commencement of eight weeks of joyous pop and schlager sing-a-longs on Swedish primetime TV – and on scandipop.co.uk!

Last night, the big names on offer were Rasmus Seebach who performed the fantastic ‘Sirenerne’ from his current album, plus Lisa Miskovsky who sang her Melodifestivalen 2012 hit ‘Why Start A Fire’. Classic schlager was provided by Lill-Babs, plus the host herself Lotta Engberg.
