Lotta på Liseberg wrapped up its 2020 season last night, after a couple of months of being beamed into Swedish living rooms on Monday nights. ‘Twas a season with a difference, this one – what with it being 2020 and all that. And with everything that 2020 entails, this year’s Lotta på Liseberg took place minus one important factor – the live audience in attendance. TV4 did their best to bring us the same show they always do, however – with the production taken to Liseberg in Gothenburg, and the iconic staging built as normal. Not to mention the excellent bookings of this year’s crop of hit-making artists.
And it’s that last important detail that brings us here.
