Some songs that we’ve written about on here recently have since had videos made for them.
Let’s take a look at them, shall we?!
Linnea Henriksson‘s ‘Väldigt Kär/Obegripligt Ensam’ has yet to make much of an impact in Sweden, but it’s still early days yet. And given that she graduated from last year’s Idol, there may be an opportunity for her to perform on this season of Idol now that the live shows have started again. Here’s what we wrote about the song back at the end of August. Its video sees our heroine frolic about a seaside and woodland setting on cloudy day, with little more than a pair of shorts to keep her warm. That’s never the most pleasant of experiences, is it? So perhaps that explains the sullen look upon Linnea’s face. Or maybe it’s just her keeping a straight face for the purpose of this I-might-be-from-Idol-but-I’m-no-pop-puppet thing that she’s probably wanting to put across right now. We jest of course – it’s clearly for the sake of the lyrics. It’s such a great song.
Neo has unleashed the video for his ‘Toxicated Love’ single. We like this, because it’s a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at what Neo’s been up to for the last few years. Lots of backstage and onstage action, and general out-and-about candidness. A look into the stage life of a Swedish pop performer. Here’s what we said about the song back in August. In other Neo news, he revealed last week that he has completed work on his new album, and it’s gonna be out soon. So we won’t have long to wait for some more falsetto flavoured tunage from him.
And finally, John Dahlbäck and Erik Hassle‘s ‘One Last Ride’ has got itself a video too. Frankly we had some issues believing that this was actually its video, and not just an extended advert for a Las Vegas resort, but at the very last second something sort of happens to tie in with the song ending. We’re still loving the track. Here’s what we wrote about it in September.
