Norwegian songstress Maria Mena is finally getting another shot at UK success next month. She had a brief spell of hits around the rest of the world in the mid noughties (although never achieveing a hit in the UK), then again around mainland Europe in 2008 with her 4th album. It’s from this 4th album that her next UK single has been lifted from. First released as a single in Europe in late 2008, ‘All This Time’ will be released in the UK on February 15th. It’s a long overdue shot at success over here for her. We’ve always had a subtle admiration for Maria and her music. She matches heart wrenching lyrics sung by a fragile melancholic voice, with undeniably catchy melodies. Here’s ‘All This Time’, which has already had some play on BBC Radio 2.
