Swedish dance duo, The Attic, have provided us with many a dancefloor gem over the last decade or so. It’s been a while since we heard anything from them though, but now they’re back with a brand new track released on sale today.
Sort of.
It IS The Attic, as in it’s Eric Amarillo and Michael Feiner. However, for reasons unknown, they aren’t using their Attic monikor for the time being, and it’s being released under their own names. Anyway, their classic sound is present and correct, and we’ve got a faint and distant vocal over a typically hands-in-the-air production. Parts of it venture way too far into minimal electro for our liking, but the good bits are very good, and so we’ve been giving it some spins this afternoon, much to the throbbing pleasure of our ear drums! ‘Sensation’ is shaping up to be just that!
