A song that we like a lot now has a video that we like a lot. ‘I Am’ by Swedish performer Dinah Nah.
We wrote about our love for this song way back in early April, but we’d sort of shamelessy forgotten about it recently. So it’s great to see that it’s getting a new lease of life via the durable medium of the pop vid.
It’s quite the video to behold, too. If you enjoy seeing the type of woman that you wouldn’t want to mess with, dressing up ostentatiously and behaving all fierce with it, well yes – look no further than here. It goes from barmy to budget, veering back to bonkers, and more often than not bordering on brilliant. There’s also an Egyptian theme running throughout, culminating in an extraordinary costume scene from around the three minute mark onwards.
The whole thing is oddly hypnotising. Colour us slightly besotted.
