Danny Saucedo has unveiled a new single. Well, it’s not exactly anything brand new. It’s a cover of The Attic’s ‘In Your Eyes’ which he recorded a while back (presumably whilst working with them on songs for his ‘Set Your Body Free’ album back in 2008). He’s performed it at gigs before and it was only a matter of time before it got a release in some way, shape, or form.
We’re guessing that it’s either a new single for him in Poland and Eastern Europe (where he’s made a considerable name for himself with past hits) – or perhaps a buzz track to be sent to Swedish radio as a reminder that Danny is in fact a solo artist who makes club music. The reason for wanting to do that of course is that he makes his big Melodifestivalen debut in February. After taking a break from his solo stuff to concentrate on boyband balladry with EMD, he takes to the MF stage with ‘’big dance song’’ ‘In The Club’ next year. ‘In Your Eyes’ serves as a nice reminder as to what Danny’s sound really is. And we hadn’t realised how much we’d missed hearing his voice over pop club beats! His is one of the Melodifestivalen entries that we’re looking forward to most.
