Norwegian singer Carina Dahl has got herself a new single out. And yesterday she premiered the video.
It’s ‘I Don’t Care’. A contrast to her previous two mid-tempo ballad singles, in that it’s an up-tempo, carefree (the clue was in the title all along) pop song. Heavy use of strings too, which is always welcome in the land of up-tempo pop.
The video is super cute. Boyfriend doesn’t show up at the airport for an excursion they’d planned together. So Carina rips up his ticket, heads off on her own, and has a brillo time without him. Silly man.
The song was written by Carina herself along with Elias Kapari and David Hedvall. And she’s released it outside of Norway too. Her new ‘I Don’t Care’ EP, also available digitally worldwide, contains this, previous singles ‘Not Like The Others’ and ‘Sleepwalking’, plus new dancepop track ‘Hypnotise Me’.
