What’s this? The excellent debut EP from Swedish artist Yaeger. ‘Gul’.
What’s on it? Two singles that we absolutely adored (and still do adore, a alot) – ‘Dopamine High‘ and ‘You Like Me‘.
What else? Two brand-new songs, ‘Note To Self’ and ‘Note To Friend’. Not just similar to each other in title, but in sound too. Both a step away from the singles in that they’re more r&b in sound and more chilled in tempo.
What else? Another single, ‘I Need A’, which we didn’t really dig so much at the time it came out, so we didn’t feature. But in the context of this collection of songs, it’s grown on us a lot more.
All in all? What an absolutely tremendous new artist we’ve been blessed with! We hope that this is just the very very start for Yaeger, and that 2019 delivers loads more music from her.
