Swedish pop duo Rob & Nino have today released their brand new single and video – ‘I Just Wanna’.
It’s a vaguely dubstep influenced track with ickle bits of dance and a great deal of pop. The whole song is lyrically about the fact that they boys are only after one thing. “when it comes to *ucking you, *ucking you, there’s no one better” (censorship, artist’s own), “I can see you’re all looking for love, but tonight you’re out of luck” and then the chorus of “cos I just wanna……..” with dubstep gloom wobbles obviously meant to represent the words “FUCK YOU“, or something like that. Rude, but quite fun – especially when you hear the intensity of those aforementioned dubstep gloom wobbles. Boys!
It’s a good return to form for the chaps, up there with all of the good stuff that’s come before from them – after the generic mishap of a mess that was their previous single ‘Freak‘.
The video which they premiered today is a stylish and really professional animated epic, depicting the two as Cartoon Heroes.
